  • Author: Admin
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

Crispy and tangy Buffalo wings coated in a rich, buttery hot sauce. Perfect for game days or casual gatherings, these wings are served with celery sticks and creamy blue cheese dressing for a classic pairing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
  • 1/2 cup cayenne hot sauce (e.g., Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Wings:
    • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Season them with salt and pepper.
  2. Fry the Wings:
    • Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C). Fry the wings in batches for 10–12 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  3. Make the Sauce:
    • In a small saucepan, combine hot sauce, melted butter, vinegar, and garlic powder. Stir over low heat until smooth.
  4. Coat the Wings:
    • Toss the fried wings in the prepared sauce until evenly coated.
  5. Serve:
    • Arrange the wings on a platter with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a healthier option, bake the wings at 400°F (200°C) for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Adjust the sauce’s heat level by adding more or less cayenne hot sauce.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the oven at 375°F (190°C) to retain crispiness.
